Embolization

As I mentioned in my previous post, I may go through 'Embolization' procedure to dispose bomb in my brain (AVM). Basically embolization is a procedure carried out by interventional radiologist in which he closed off abnormal vessels with the substances like alcohol ;-) or glue like material.
In this procedure radiologist will put micro catheter with its tip lying or near the AVM and pass n-BCA (alcohol or glue) through it to block abnormal vein. The radiologist who is going to carry this treatment should be extremely skilled other wise there are chances of wrong vein getting glued or micro catheter get stuck in the brain....
As per my study over it , I don't need embolization as surface area of AVM is less than 3cm but definitely I am not a doctor of this field ......
Now a days I am busy in scanning CVs to find best doctor for my treatment..... I will keep updating on it..... till then take care..... see you seen......
